Good Publishing
RESTRUCTURE SCIENTIFIC PUBLISHING
The current system is too slow, opaque, and prestige-driven. We need platforms that support rapid, open dissemination; prioritize quality over branding; and make data, code, and methods accessible to all.
FIX PEER REVIEW
Peer review should improve scientific articles, not defend orthodoxy. We need better reviewer-matching, openness to reform, and alternatives to the single pre-publication gatekeeper model.
OPEN THE CONVERSATION
Publish peer reviews—anonymous or signed—alongside papers to increase transparency and credit. We should also encourage others to publicly post critiques, replications, or extensions, so evaluation doesn’t stop at publication.
